Our Philosophy

Faith is more than what happens on Sunday mornings. It's a part of who we are, inside and out. At North River UMC, we believe in sharing the joy of the gospels daily, and living a life that embodies the spirit of Christ.

Fall Bazaar- AS Always we are planning for the next year.  We have so much talent among our church members who  create beautiful crafts, bake delicious casseroles, cakes, pies, and other goodies, as well as supporting and helping our bazaar.  The more people we have working together , the greater success the bazaar will be, but most of all the fellowship of working together will be such a blessing for everyone, as well as glorifying God.    Thank you to everyone that helped at make the Bazaar a success. Save this date SATURDAY NOVEMBER 10, 2018.Hope everyone is getting their stuff together. The Bazaar will be here before you know it.  We need people to start making casseroles and freezing them (8x8 aluminum pans- Contact Pam Brown for pans). These sell very well and are wonderful breakfast, dinner or dessert options. WE also need people to make homemade soup. We will be selling quart and pint sizes, as well as quart and pint sizes of our chowder and chili.  This year the church will add a RAFFLE of a large item. Contact Bob Armistead if you have an idea or item that would make a great RAFFLE item.  Tickets will go on sale in October. Along with bazaar items we will be selling breakfast biscuits and for lunch Chili and Chowder (need pots of both made/donated) with cornbread and a brownie for dessert.
Contact  Cheryl Willis (386-965-1647) or  or Bobbie Daw (252-723-9397) if you have any ideas or would like to donate to buying materials to make the crafts.
